Oire nomi (japanese bench chisel) hand forged from white steel #1 with a very nice japanese red oak handle. Length is 215mm (8 7/16). The chisels is brand new. Back and bevel has been polished to 1 micron but it’s unused. Kiyohisa chisels don’t really need much introduction, google if you’re unfamiliar. In short, the blacksmith Watanabe Kiyoe makes the highest quality chisels with an excellent fit and finish and they’re pretty difficult to get a hold of – he has a several year wait list and probably won’t be producing chisels for much longer. So this is a rare chance to get one of these excellent chisels. Please feel free to ask any questions!
