It was stored for many years and developed some rust during storage. The previous owner states that the chisels should be usable after proper sharpening and restoration. Please note that there is also some deterioration or damage to portions of the ura-suki (hollow-ground backs). The wooden storage box was custom-made by Yasuhira Woodworking using old cherry wood supplied by the previous owner.
