Nezumi Blue Steel Japanese Bench Chisels. The smith’s family have specialised in making chisels since 1930. These are professional quality chisels with a super hard edge for the cleanest of clean cuts made from Blue Steel. The extra hardened laminated steel holds an excellent edge but and the scientifically formulated blue steel holds a decent edge for longer than a white steel. An inexperience user would need to exhibit some care. While the super hard steel makes for very clean cuts and excellent edge durability it can chip in the hands of the inexperienced or careless. A more experienced user understands this and treats chisels of this class accordingly.
