Hand forged traditional Japanese Nomi chisels – t wo thumbs up from David Charlesworth. Is a very well respected and highly skilled blacksmith from Miki, Hyogo prefecture. These Japanese oak handled chisels are really well made with great work on the necks and ferrules. 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 36 and 42mm. A great opportunity if you have the time to clean and sharpen them up. All need final sharpening and the 3mm is missing its hoop. The 42mm should really be a separate listing on its own, but Im putting them all together as part of a garage clearout. I’ve just noticed a little shallow pitting on the top of the 36mm chisel which could easily be polished out, however, I’ve retained this and the general surface patina for its character.
