Nezumi is Fujikawa’s high end line of chisels. This is made with a special, high-performance powdered metal high-speed steel. High-speed steel provides a sharp edge that is very difficult to dull or chip, making it a great choice for hard, abrasive, or dirty woods, as well as other materials like MDF, various plastics, etc. Condition: The chisel is in good used condition. The back has been flattened and it has been sharpened to 8000 grit on Shapton Glass stones. The hoop has been set and the handle mushroomed. Save yourself the considerable setup time with this used and ready to use chisel. The style is Oire Nomi, otherwise known as a standard bench chisel. This style of chisel is meant for general-purpose use and is suitable for carpentry and cabinetry work.
